Letter From The President

It gives me immense pleasure to witness Adar Poonawalla Maharashtra Tennis Academy’s strong strides towards shaping its vision into reality. The academy is credited with producing some of the highest ranking players in the country; and the journey has only just begun. With the vision of placing India on the world map of tennis, the academy consistently works to give players the best training with modern techniques and tactics, along with physical and psychological conditioning.

I strongly believe that to give our players the best advantage, it is imperative to ‘catch them young’ and then give them the best holistic training to ensure their success on a global platform. With the academy’s robust system standing on 4 core pillars – Technical, Tactical, Physical and Mental along with a high-quality pool of talent in the country, what was once considered unattainable now seems extremely possible.

The academy comprises an outstanding group of world-class coaches, nutritionists, sports physiotherapists, mental and physical trainers, to ensure that the players do not fall short in any area. It is exciting and encouraging to see the academy bringing forth such distinct players who are creating their mark, and have achieved strong national rankings and promising ITF (Senior & Junior), ATP/WTA rankings.

For the potentials and for the country at large, the academy stands as a beacon of a bright future in the world of tennis. I am humbled to have had the opportunity to do my bit in making this platform a reality.

I wish the best to the academy and its players, and I move forward with much hope in my heart and a vision of applauding all our players, on some of the most reputed tennis tournaments around the globe.

Best,
The President
Adar Poonawalla
